Hoot, the female, Great Horned Owl, was looking over my shoulder while I was setting up on the nest. Hoot was making some soft squawks before flying to the nest. She spent some time making some more squawks while Give A Hoot, the male, was making some contact hoots/calls in the distance. Hoot eventually joined the owlets in the nest.
