Reverend Raven & The Chain Smokin' Altar Boys / Big Bull Falls Blues Festival 2012


On Friday, 08-17-12, Reverend Raven & The Chain Smokin' Altar Boys played at the Big Bull Falls Blues Festival in Wausau, Wisconsin following the Sena Ehrhardt Band. Toward the end of the Rev's set he invited Sena Ehrhardt with the Sena Ehrhardt Band to come up and sing a little. Reverend Raven & The Chain Smokin' Altar Boys / Bayfront Blues Festival 2012


On Friday, 08-10-12, Reverend Raven & The Chain Smokin' Altar Boys were the first band to play the Leinenkuel's Stage at the Bayfront Blues Festival this year. There's a link to more Reverend Raven images after these posted ones. There's also a link to the Bayfront Blues Festival Gallery...but at the time of this post the only band in it is the Reverend.

Becky Barksdale Limited Edition EP


On Friday, 09-21-12, I received from Becky my copy of "Becky Barksdale Limited Edition EP" where one of my images of her was used on the inside. Becky also has used this image on her single, "Close to You".

Becky has been inducted into The Music Hall of Fame at the Museum of the Gulf Coast. Congratulations Becky....

Ana Popovic / Famous Dave's 2012


On 09-07-12 I went to Famous Dave's in the Uptown area of Minneapolis to see one of my favorite bands...Ana Popovic.

Ana and her band put on an excellent show. I posted a few images right after their performance and posted them on Facebook. Normally, I go through all of my images of a shoot before I post them in a gallery on my website. 

I'm behind on going through all my images this season from the different "Blues Festivals" that I attended because I photograph other things other than live music. Anyways, I was contacted recently by a friend who wanted to know if I was going to post my images of Ana. I mentioned they were on my FB wall, but I have so many other images that you really have to look for them. So I decided to post on my website the ones I've done so far...not many, but I'll add more images to her gallery when I have time. 

Thank you Ana for putting on a great show!! 

UPDATE: As of 11-17-12 all of my images of Ana and her band from their Famous Dave's BBQ & Blues Club have been posted on my website. Ana Popoovic Gallery
