Grand Funk Railroad was the headliner for Day One of the Thunder Bay Blues Festival. Grand Funk is from the town where I grew up in Michigan.
I had every album up until the mid 70's. On Time was their first album followed shortly by their "Red Album" Grand Funk.
I began editing these images and finally decided to stop at 83. I'll never get through all my images at this rate.
There were a couple ladies who I got to talk to and found out they were very big Grand Funk fans! These two ladies allowed me to move about them along the barrier so I could photograph the band. I was still limited in my angles as the large crowd was pushed right up to the barrier. Thank you ladies for putting up with me!
