My “Blues” friend, Kim, was at the St. Paul Art Crawl selling her polymer clay jewelry and other stuff, so I didn’t know who was going to be there.
I parked my Suburban in the parking ramp and as I walked by the elevator I came across Willie Murphy. I said hi, but he was talking to a couple people so I didn’t stop.
I got inside Famous Dave’s and saw Kay another “Blues” friend. I mentioned I just saw Willie outside. She told me he played from 06:30 to 8:30 pm. Oh,....
I wish I would have known he was playing, because I really enjoy listening to him.
While waiting for Guitar Shorty to start Bruce McCabe showed up to take in the show. It's not too often you'll see Bruce sitting in the crowd enjoying the music. The reason is because he's usually playing himself.
Well, Guitar Shorty, played to a full house. He put on a excellent show! It appeared all the ladies “love” Guitar Shorty, too.
