Friday evening, 03-25-11, after my photo shoot with Faces Etc of MN I went down to Wilebski's Blues Saloon to see Tinsley Ellis.
It was an evening of one excellent song after another. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this band. I will make sure I see them again when they come to the area. I know they will be playing this summer at the Fargo Blues Festival, but a friend also mentioned that she thought they might be back at Famous Daves Blues Festival before then. I don't know that to be a fact, but if they are you'll see me there.
I couldn't see Jeff Burch the drummer very well, but when I saw him I saw a wide range of facial expressions as he played. What I couldn't miss no matter where I was in the room was his playing. Jeff plays with a lot of enthusiasm and energy.
The Evil One was on bass. We spoke briefly and he wouldn't give up his first name.
If you are debating to go see this band...don't... just go!!
