Harbor at the Coffee Gallery

I went to the Coffee Gallery inside the Open Book, at 1011 Washington AV S., Mineapolis, for our Strobist shoot today.

Today was going to be spent shooting "products", but thank goodness Harbor came to the shoot. In fact, she was the only model today.

Joe Foreman and I grabbed her first thing and set up some lights and began shooting. When we were done shooting Harbor or I should say when another group grabbed her, Joe and I attempted some photos of an expresso. It wasn't working out for me so after a few shots I drank the expresso.

Thank you Harbor for coming to todays shoot to ease my pain of doing only shots of products.

2010 Al's Round Robin

Today, I received an e-mail from Krista Madison who wanted me to post the dates for this years Al's Round Robin. (Al Rudquist)

Hi Chuck,

Hope you are having a good winter! I wanted to let you know that we will have Al's Round Robin on July 3-4, 9am start time. We want to get the word out early so people can commit to training for it- hope you will consider it too! Thanks for posting it on your blog (if you can).

Scott Traczyk, Chris Gerber and I went to the Guthrie Theatre last night to take some photos. I was planning to shoot with Bill Houlton, then a couple days ago he had to back out, so I decided not to go and I never finalized any plans with any models.

I was sitting at my computer finishing up my trip report when Chris Gerber called and said he needed to get out and take some photos. A couple hours later we met up with Scott who had made arrangements to meet Brianna at the Guthrie. Scott was kind enough to share his model.

I had a fun time. Thank you to Brianna, Scott and Chris. I've posted a couple photos of Brianna. I'll post more later, but now I have to run!!!
