More Macro Shots from Saturday 02-21-09

All these were taken with my Nikon D-80 with my 105 mm Mirco lens. Since I've been taking some photography classes and other photography workshops I decided to upgrade my camera.

I ordered my new Nikon D700 from B & H Photo today. I was going to wait, but the more I though about it I decided just to do it!

I start my Intermediate Digital Photography class this coming Thursday and I have a couple macro classes left.

I also signed up for another Strobist meet-up in April.

Photography stuff over the week-end...

Here are some photos taken at my Macro Photography class yesterday, Saturday 02-15-09. I take this class through Inbeaute Photography with Karl Blomseth. http://www.inbeautephoto.com/classic/Workshop.htm
Afterwards, I went over to another studio where another member, Andrew, of the Twin Cities Photography Club, does his photography work. http://andrewthomasdesigns.com/
He put on a little lighting class for a couple of us.

Today, I went to another meet-up with the Strobist Meet-up group. It was held at the Minneapolis Photo Center. http://www.mplsphotocenter.com/tour in North Minneapolis. http://www.flickr.com/groups/mnstrobist/discuss/72157612200008415/. I had a good time and got to shoot several models. Hopefully I’ll get some photos posted in the next couple of days.

Tomorrow, I have to go and finish my last assignment for my Basic Digital Photography class that end last Tuesday. Although the class was only four sessions (3 hours each session) I learned a lot.
