On Friday, 03-29-13, I went down to Famous Dave's BBQ & Blues Club in the Uptown part of Minneapolis to see Ana Popovic and her band. It's always a good show when Ana comes to town.
Ana was last at Famous Dave's in September of last year. Since they were in town last Famous Dave's have changed up their stage lighting. It was very challenging evening of photography, because of all the extreme backlighting. There were many times I couldn't even see her face through my viewfinder, although my camera could still focus on her. There weren't as many photographers this time as there was the last time when she was in town...I don't know if it was due to the lighting or not, but that's fine with me.
During the break I picked up Ana's newest CD, "Can You Stand The Heat" and I needed to get another copy of her previous CD, "Unconditional".
Ana and her band put on another excellent show again...as always!! There is a link to more images from the evening after these posted images here...
